to adults, children and families in four states. The bank's computer equipment will help these nonprofit organizations administer current programs and expand their services through the use of technology.

The Las Vegas Natural History Museum opened its doors in July 1991 in a renovated 35,000 square foot building located at 900 Las Vegas Boulevard North near Cashman Field. The Museum combines education and entertainment through multi-sensory exhibits. Animated exhibits, live animals and rare animal mounts and other displays bring natural history alive.

"It takes strong community supporters like Business Bank to help us keep our doors open and offer the many programs we have here at the museum," said Marilyn Gillespie, director of the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. "A lot of hard work has gone into building a first class natural history museum in our community, and we're excited to celebrate our 11-year anniversary next month. We hope the community, along with our many longtime supporters, will join with us for this celebration."

Gillespie added that the anniversary celebration would take place at the museum on Saturday, July 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The museum features various exhibits including the Prehistoric, African, International Wildlife, Marine Life, Hands-On Discovery, and Learning Center. Approximately 30,000 school age children visit the museum every year. The Las Vegas Natural History Museum was recently named an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institute.

The computer equipment the bank donated to the Natural History Museum and WestCare consisted of Pentium II 200 processors, monitors, keyboards and more. Over the last 18 months, the bank has been upgrading its computer equipment to more state-of-the-art technology and donating its older model equipment to various nonprofit organizations.
