Business Bank of Nevada Appoints New Controller and Hires New Commercial Loan Officer and Branch Manager.

Business Bank of Nevada today announced that it has appointed Pamela Madere as vice president and controller of the bank, and hired Patrick Hubbard as a vice president and commercial loan officer, and Floy Davis as vice president and branch manager of the bank's Tenaya and Lake Mead office.

Madere has worked for Business Bank of Nevada for the past two years in the Accounting Department, where she has held a variety of positions, including manager and accounting administrator. Prior to joining Business Bank, Madere worked as controller for Vista Landscape Centers in Las Vegas. She has also worked for Hibernia National Bank and Mutual Savings and Loan in New Orleans.

A native of Louisiana, Madere graduated from the University of New Orleans with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. She is a candidate for the CPA exam in November and has future plans to obtain a master of business administration degree, with an emphasis in finance.

Hubbard joins Business Bank from Community Bank of Nevada, where he served as vice president and commercial loan officer since May of last year. He also worked for Community Bank between 1997 and 1998 before joining Harrah's Hotel and Casino as a senior financial analyst. Hubbard's banking experience also includes U.S. Bank of Nevada, where he worked as a corporate relationship manager and credit analyst.

He is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. Hubbard also has a master of business administration degree from Clemson University, and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association's Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma.

Davis joins Business Bank from Nevada State Bank and its predecessor, Pioneer Citizens Bank, where she served as vice president and branch manager for the past four years.

Prior to joining Nevada State Bank, Davis worked for Bank of America and its predecessor, Valley Bank of Nevada, in a variety of positions. With more than 22 years of banking experience, Davis has worked as a manager, preferred banker, financial sales representative, secretary, new accounts representative and teller.

Davis is actively involved in a variety of community-related programs, serving on such boards as Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Southern Nevada. Over the last two decades, Davis has also been involved in a number of educational programs, such as the PTA and PayBac programs through the Clark County School District.
