Business, Professional and Jewish Community Leaders to Gather on November 12 at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel for Gala Fundraiser for Cancer Research.

LOS ANGELES -- The Israel Cancer Research Fund - Los Angeles Chapter (ICRF-LA) announced today that attendance for its 2005 Black Tie Gala fundraiser is on track to exceed 2004 levels. Ticket sales, tribute journal advertisements, auction proceeds and donations for the annual Gala will help to fund research fellowships, project grants and professorships for cancer research conducted in Israel.

The Gala will take place on Saturday, November 12, 2005, starting at 6:30 p.m., at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, in Beverly Hills. At the Gala, ICRF will honor two leaders in medicine and philanthropy who personify the charitable mission of ICRF and the selfless values of its founders.

Dr. Robert Goldberg, Professor of Ophthalmology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Chief of Orbital and Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery and co-director of the Aesthetic Reconstructive Surgery Service at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, will receive ICRF's prestigious Irwin M. Weinstein Excellence in Medicine Award at the Gala.

Mr. Bradley Tabach-Bank, prominent attorney and real estate developer, President of Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services and past president of Wilshire Boulevard Temple will receive ICRF's Humanitarian Award at the Gala. Mr. Tabach-Bank will accept this award on behalf of the Jeannie Tabach-Bank Memorial Fund for Pancreatic Cancer Research, which has been recently established in memory of his beloved wife.

The Gala, which marks the 30th Anniversary of ICRF, will also celebrate the official opening in Tel Aviv, Israel of the much-anticipated ICRF Park, a 4.5 acre oasis of greenery and tranquility that exists as a living monument to the memory of loved ones throughout the world lost to cancer, and will provide a permanent place of recognition for ICRF's generous benefactors. The theme of this year's Gala, Dancing in the Park, will evoke the upbeat spirit and beautiful appearance of the ICRF Park, which is located in a vibrant neighborhood of Tel Aviv that is home to Tel Aviv University, a major office tower and shopping complex, and private residences.
