Business, Labor, Water Leaders Praise Gov. Davis for Signing Water Bond.


SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 7, 1999--

Business, labor and water leaders from throughout California praised Gov. Davis today for signing AB 1584, the Safe Drinking Water drinking water

supply of water available to animals for drinking supplied via nipples, in troughs, dams, ponds and larger natural water sources; an insufficient supply leads to dehydration; it can be the source of infection, e.g. leptospirosis, salmonellosis, or of poisoning, e.g.
, Clean Water, Watershed Protection The term watershed refers to an area of land that drains precipitation that falls on it to a common point. These points could be streams, lakes, etc. Precipitatoin falling on any part of a watershed can travel quickly on the surface of the land, known as surface runoff, or travel through  and Flood Protection Act.

More importantly, it's a measure that balances our environmental needs with our economic future. The bill's authors, Senator Jim Costa James Manuel "Jim" Costa (born April 13 1952) is a Democratic politician from the U.S. state of California.
