Bushnell awarded military contract.

The U.S. government has awarded Bushnell Bush·nell   , David 1742-1824.

American inventor who designed (1775) a man-propelled submarine for use against British ships in the Revolution.
Outdoor Products a contract for a special military version of the Elite 15-45x60mm spotting scopes. Bushnell started shipping the units in late 2008.

Bushnell will make some modifications to the spotting scopes to meet military specifications. The new contract is a continuation continuation - continuation passing style  of previous purchases by the U.S. government. "The continued reliance by multinational forces on our Elite spotting scopes is a testament to its optical performance and ability to stand up to hard tactical use in the field." said Rob Gates, Bushnell director of sales for military and law enforcement.
