Bush Senior would like to see second son Jeb in the White House.

Washington, Jan.5 (ANI): Former U.S. President George Bush Sr. would like to see his second son Jeb in the White House.

"I'd like to see him run," he said. "I'd like to see him be president some day," Bush Sr. said

Jeb Bush John Ellis "Jeb" Bush (born February 11, 1953) is an American politician, and was the 43rd Governor of Florida as well as the first Republican to be re-elected to that office. He is a prominent member of the Bush family: the younger brother of current President George W. , the former governor of Florida The Governor of Florida is the chief executive of the Government of Florida, and serves as chairman of the Florida Cabinet. The Governor has the power to execute Florida's laws and to call out the state militia to preserve the public peace, being Commander-in-Chief of the state's , has long been regarded as his father's favourite.

"He's a guy who really has a feel for people, the issues in Florida and nationally and his political days ought not to be over," said the ex-president.

"I think he's as qualified and able as anyone I know."

Bush, however, conceded, that "now is probably not the time" to launch another White House run, because people may have concluded "there have been enough Bushes in there".

Bush Sr. and his son George W are the second father and son in US history to serve as presidents.

John Adams was the second and his son, John Quincy Adams, the sixth.

George W. Bush will leave office on January 20 with approval ratings hovering just below 30 per cent in many polls, some of the lowest of any president in history. (ANI)
