A Boston TV reporter challenged Bush to name the heads of four world hot spots hot spots

* "Chairman Moe" --President Ronald Reagan, 1982 (trying to introduce Liberian President Samuel K. Doe)

* "Today is Pearl Harbor Day. Forty-seven years ago from this very day we were hit...." --Vice President George Bush, Sept. 7, 1988 (the correct date is Dec. 7)

* "I agree with him more and more as he moves to the center these days." --Vice President Al Gore in 1999, on former Senator Barry Goldwater (who died in 1998)
