Bush Boake Allen elects Peter L. Acton to its board of directors; Three new officers also named.

MONTVALE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 1994--William H. Trice, chairman of Bush Boake Allen Inc. (NYSE:BOA) today announced that the board of directors has elected Peter L. Acton a director of the company effective November 3, 1994.

He succeeds Walter L. Jones who resigned. Acton is general manager of Union Camp Corporation's Chemical Products Division and has served in that position since early 1990. Previously he had been vice president and business manager of the Fluro Carbons Division of Allied Chemical Canada Inc.

In other actions the board also elected Jon M. Dunn vice president, Americas region, and John R. Wright, vice president, commerce and technology. Charles D. Weller has also been elected treasurer of the company.

Dunn has been with Bush Boake Allen for 18 years. Most recently he served as vice president, commerce and technology, and was previously vice president, global sales aroma and terpene chemicals. Prior to that he was general sales manager, Asia/Pacific region.

Wright has been with Bush Boake Allen for 21 years and has an extensive background as a creative flavorist and technical manager. Most recently he was general manager, flavors, for Europe.

Weller joins Bush Boake Allen after serving as assistant treasurer for Duracell International. All three men will be located at Bush Boake Allen corporate headquarters, Montvale.
