Bus ordeal for pupils.

For many years all the children in Salmaniya area had a bus stop in front of Sana Sana or San'a (both: sŏnä`), city (1994 pop. 954,448), capital and largest city of Yemen. The city lies inland on a high plain (alt. 7,250 ft/2,210 m) and is connected to the Red Sea port of Hodeida by road.  at Shaikh Hamad Avenue.

Due to the widening of roads and the construction of a new footpath, there is no place for the bus to stop.

And for the past week the traffic police have not been allowing school buses to stop here, saying that they are blocking the traffic flow.

So now we have to take children to the bus stop, which is half a kilometre away from the original stop.

There are a large number of students from various schools using the present location.

Taking the children in this hot weather to a far off stop is a difficult task especially with children below 10 years.

We request the Traffic Directorate to allow the buses to stop in front of Sana or please dedicate ded·i·cate
