Bus boy mum's double tragedy.A MUM whose young son was knocked down and killed by a bus had lost her sister in another tragedy nearby, it emerged yesterday. A family friend, who asked not to be named, said: "Craig's mum grew up feeling the loss of Arlene. But having her own family around her made things good again. "God only knows how she will come to terms with Craig's death." Craig was playing with his four-year-old brother William before the accident happened on Wednesday afternoon. The schoolboy is believed to have borrowed his pal's bike in return for a shot of his ball. Minutes later, he rode into the road between two parked cars and into the path of a No84 bus. Last night, Elizabeth and William were believed to be at home with Craig's sister Terri, eight, and their dad Terry. Friends and relatives visited the house in Shafton Place during the day andmany left tributes at the scene of the accident. Football shirts, candles, flowers and soft toys lined a railing on the path where Craig had been playing. One message read: "Little Craig the angel. God keep my angel safe and keep good care of him." |
