Burton G. Perch 1925 - 2008.PITTSFIELD Burton G. Perch, 83, of 111 Partridge Rd., passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Worcester, August 1, 1925, the son of Albert and Mary Saffer Perch, he attended the local schools and was a 1943 graduate of South High School in Worcester. Continuing his education, he attended Becker Junior College, the New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The region is thought to have been so named by Capt. School of Accounting Berkshire Community College Berkshire Community College is a two-year community college in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. It offers associate degrees as well as a transfer program for students to earn credits for transfer to other colleges. . Mr. Perch was employed as a trooper for the Massachusetts State Police for 25 years. He retired in 1975. He enjoyed traveling especially the trips he and his wife took to Turkey, Russia, Egypt, Israel, and France. He also enjoyed cruises and gardening. He and his wife of 49 years, the former Bertha Bailor One who places control over or possession of Personal Property in the hands of another, a bailee, for its care, safekeeping, or use, in accordance to the terms of a mutual agreement.
