Miss Burroughs is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton E. "Butch" Burroughs, Jr. of Vicksburg.

Mr. Potts is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenny W. Haden of Vicksburg.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore an original designer gown by Justina McCaffrey Justina McCaffrey is a fashion designer for bridal gowns. She is a recipient of two international design awards.

She comes from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Justina graduated from the Fashion Institute of Los Angeles in 1985.

She designed clothes for Kleinfeld.

 bodice of white dupioni silk was attached at the waist to five graduated layers of white bridal tulle Tulle (tl, Fr. tül), town (1990 pop. 18,685), capital of Corrèze dept., S central France. Firearms and other goods are made there. Tulle was built around a 7th-century monastery. , each layer trimmed with a band of dupioni silk. Her double-layered veil was of white bridal tulle, with each layer trimmed with a band of dupioni silk. The veil was attached to a comb of Austrian crystals and pearls, which also adorned the veil. She wore her paternal grandmother's pearls and a pearl and diamond ring, a gift from the groom. Her bouquet was white and lavender stock, white bridal roses, and white lisianthus, framed with greenery.

Maid of honor was Katy Tillman Davis of Starkville. Bridesmaids were Dana Francingues and Suzanne Francingues, cousins of the bride, and Allison Cook, all of Jackson; Julie Steen Daly of Houston, Texas; and Casey Copes, Amanda Irwin, Ashley Boolos, and Lindsey Kolb Fulton, all of Vicksburg. Darah Boykin, cousin of the bride served as flower girl.

The attendants wore two-piece ensembles of silk taffeta taffeta, cloth, originally silk but now also made of synthetic fibers, supposed to have originated in Persia. The name, derived from Persian, means "twisted woven." Taffeta is in the same class and demand as satin made of silk. . Plaid bustier bus·tier

"Butch" Henley, uncle of the groom; David Payne, Jeff Davidson, Chad Sonneck, Denton Stokes and Rob McCain, all of Vicksburg; and Kevin Ford and Robbie Goudelock of Birmingham, Alabama. Connor Smith, cousin of the groom, served as ring bearer. He carried a satin pillow covered with lace from the bride's mother's wedding gown.

Mrs. Megan Schrock directed the wedding.

Following the ceremony, the parents of the bride entertained guests with a reception at the Vicksburg.

The bride and groom departed the reception in a white limousine to spend their wedding night at Cedar Grove mansion. They departed the next day for their honeymoon at the Sandals Resort in Nassau, Grand Bahamas.

The couple is at home in Vicksburg.
