Burritoville nabs hot spots.


Growing Mexican food chain, Burritoville, owned by TruFoods Corp., recently signed new leases at 150 E. 43rd Street in the Chrysler Building Chrysler Building, in midtown Manhattan, New York City, at Lexington Ave. between 42d and 43d St. The ultimate art deco-style skyscraper, it was commissioned by Walter P. Chrysler, designed by William Van Alen, and built in 1926–30.  and 65 Fifth Avenue at 14th Street, two of Manhattan's most well-trafficked sites.

Both locations are scheduled to open within three months. Newmark New Spectrum Retail's Amira Yunis, senior managing director, spearheaded the leases on behalf of Burritoville.

 locations," said Jeffrey Bernstein, chief executive of TruFoods.

"In addition to the new sites, we are currently working to update Burritoville's look, complete with wood finishes, which will further distinguish and reflect the quality of our eateries."

Burritoville's space in the Chrysler Building totals 1,700 square feet and was formerly occupied by the Pret A Manger Pret A Manger (French for "Ready to Eat") (informally "Pret") is a UK sandwich retailer. As of January 2007, some stores are being rebranded to just "Pret". The company was founded in London in 1986 by friends Sinclair Beecham and Julian Metcalfe who met while studying property law  sandwich chain. The second lease, which totals 900 square feet, includes a mezzanine and offers one of the busiest corners in New York City New York City: see New York, city.
