Burrard Technologies, Inc. (the "Company") (OTCBB:BTGS) announces that the board of directors of the Company has approved a change of the Company's corporate name to "Blue Industries Inc."

The board of directors has approved the name change in order that the Company's corporate name will accurately reflect the Company's water treatment technology and business. The name change will be subject to the approval of the Company's shareholders.
