Burns Doane Lands Legal Nanotechnology Pioneer.

Just weeks after launching a new nanotechnology practice group, Burns, Doane, Swecker & Mathis, LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol  has successfully recruited a nanotechnology legal pioneer, Kitu Bindra. Mr. Bindra joins Burns Doane as counsel, coming from the law firm of Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly. Mr. Bindra has helped develop nanotechnology companies, including spin-offs from NASA NASA: see National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

Mr. Bindra is co-founder of the MIT-Stanford-UC Berkeley Nanotechnology Forum, nanoSIG, and the Northern California Northern California, sometimes referred to as NorCal, is the northern portion of the U.S. state of California. The region contains the San Francisco Bay Area, the state capital, Sacramento; as well as the substantial natural beauty of the redwood forests, the northern  Nanotechnology Initiative--among the largest and most popular networking groups in the industry, which analysts report should secure more than $1.2 billion in investments by 2004.
