, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 14, 1995--Burnet Realty today reported 1994 sales volume of $3.615 billion and a total of 31,188 sales transactions for the year. The company's average transaction selling price was $115,900.

"Our 1994 results show continued consumer confidence in the economy and in our market areas," said Reedy. "One problem we encountered with the real estate industry in 1994 was a drop in the availability of resale inventory."

In reviewing other notable influences on the 1994 real estate market, Reedy remarked that consistently low interest rates over the last few years brought large numbers of first-time home buyers into the market.
