No failures or release of product prompted this action.

The company decided to shut-in all gas production into the Madden facility after localized pipe deformations were found during inspection of the field's high pressure gathering system. Engineering studies are under way to determine the cause. The field's producing wells and the treatment facility were shut-in as a precautionary safety measure. Production capacity into the plant inlet is approximately 310 million cubic feet per day (MMcfd), with approximately 210 MMcfd of treated sales gas capacity. Burlington holds a 42 percent interest in the production.

These actions are not expected to affect the long-term value of this legacy asset. Additional information will be provided when the extent and duration of this precautionary shutdown can be determined.
