Club savoured their share of success at the WKA WKA World Karting Association WKA Washington Kitefliers Association WKA World Kickboxing Association British Open at Cradley Heath with many of their squad among the medals and leading the way was the talented Charlotte Burkinshaw. The youngster collected five gold, a silver plus a bronze medal from the seven events, four at under 16s level and three in the open women's category. The overall squad returned home with 41 individual medal winners and 83 medals in all that including 28 gold and 32 silver. More than 50 members competed in the various disciplines including qingda, points sparring, light continuous sparring, traditional chinese openhand forms and chinese weapons forms.
