Burke to lead Goodyear's Six Sigma. (People in the News).

 Tire business. She previously served in Goodyear's Chemical Division as director of the supply chain. Prior to that, she served as the division's director of sales and marketing. She was manager of the business unit's specialty polymer plant in Beaumont, TX, and was also project coordinator for the plant.

Jon Rich, president of the North American Tire business, is confident that Burke has the skill and experience to lead the Six Sigma effort in the tire business. She has experienced the success of data driven decisions, business process improvements and organizational efficiencies that Six Sigma can affect.

Burke graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a chemical engineering degree.
