Burglary at chip shop; NEWSBRIEF.


BURGLARS raided a closed fish and chip shop and stole the CCTV hard drive and more than pounds 1,000 in cash.

Police have appealed for information about the break-in at the Fisheries on Caerphilly Caerphilly (kīrfĭl`ē, kär–), Welsh Caerffili, town (1981 pop. 42,376) and county borough, 108 sq mi (279 sq km), S Wales.  Road, Birchgrove, Cardiff, between 11.30pm on Saturday and 7pm on Monday.

The thieves are believed to have entered from the rear of the shop. They stole the cash and a black DMR CCTV hard drive.
