Burger King Corporation and GapKids are celebrating kid power by supporting Nickelodeon's 12th Annual Kids' Choice Awards, which is hosted by Rosie O'Donnell and airs live Saturday Saturday: see week; Sabbath. , May 1 at 8:00 p.m. (ET). Burger King will create Kids Choice Awards promotional elements in-restaurant during the next few months leading up to the show. GapKids has committed to on-air sponsorship. The two companies have offered total support of the event and are the sole sponsors.

Starting February 22, kids will be able to vote for their favorite nominees in participating Burger King restaurants across the country. The voting will cover such categories as Favorite Movie, Favorite Television Show, Favorite Sports Team, Favorite Singer, Favorite Band, Favorite Television Actress, Favorite Television Actor, Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Movie Actor. In April, Burger King will offer six specially-created Kids' Choice Awards toys with every Kids Meal. Three of the toys feature the show's host, Rosie O'Donnell.
