Burger King Corp. Announces Deal With DreamWorks.


LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 1997--

"Small Soldiers" Set for Summer 1998 Release

Burger King Corp. announced an agreement with DreamWorks SKG SKG Stichting Kwaliteit Gevelbouw (Dutch)
SKG Spielberg, Katzenberg,and Geffen (DreamWorks Studios)
SKG Thessaloniki, Greece - Thessaloniki (Airport Code)
SKG Smith and Kraus Global
 naming the fast food giant as the exclusive worldwide restaurant promotional partner for the Summer 1998 theatrical release of "Small Soldiers."

Burger King will launch the promotion in the summer of 1998 in conjunction with the release of the movie. Special premiums, based on characters from "Small Soldiers," will be available in restaurants. As part of the agreement, Burger King also has the right to use characters and scenes from the movie for advertising, packaging, merchandising and other premium offers.

"Our brand personalities have numerous similarities, we both provide consumers exactly what they want -- DreamWorks provides outstanding entertainment and Burger King delivers superior taste," said Richard Taylor Richard Taylor is the name of:

Blending live action with state-of-the-art computer animation, the "Small Soldiers" battle is on between a small but intrepid band of monstrous-looking creatures and a platoon of war-loving commandos. But this is not some alien planet Alien Planet is a roughly 1¾ hour special on Discovery Channel about two Internationally built robot probes investigating for alien life on the fictional planet Darwin IV. ; this is Suburbia, U.S.A...and the soldiers are prototypes of the most advanced toys ever imagined.
