This fall at the ROM, there's an engaging array of programs that will have kids looking forward to learning. On October 25 and 26, the Museum presents a special Halloween Weekend. Kids can test-drive their costumes while celebrating the spooky spook·y adj. spook·i·er, spook·i·est Informal 1. Suggestive of ghosts or a ghost; eerie. 2. Easily startled; skittish. holiday with ghost stories and an up close and personal visit with a dinosaur. They can brave the Bat Cave, interact with some live but not-so-scary snakes and spiders, and make their own creepy creep·y adj. creep·i·er, creep·i·est Informal 1. Feeling as if covered with moving things. companions to take home. Then on November 7, the Museum kicks off the ultimate sleepover. Each month, kids can bring their families and bunk down Verb 1. bunk down - go to bed; "We bedded down at midnight" bed down doss, doss down, crash - sleep in a convenient place; "You can crash here, though it's not very comfortable" at the ROM. The giant pajama party gives children a chance to have fun with other Museum loving kids while enjoying a backstage ROM pass, with exclusive after-hours tours and family activities.
