Bunge North America, the North American operating arm of Bunge Limited, will form a grain joint venture with Sabina Farmers Exchange, Sabina, Ohio. The new venture will be called Sabina Bunge LLC and will combine the grain purchasing, storing and marketing operations of Bunge's Jeffersonville, Ohio, elevator and Sabina's Melvin, Sabina and Winchester, Ohio, elevators. "The combination of Sabina's local grain knowledge and Bunge's national and global marketing expertise will provide greater opportunities for the producers in the area served by Sabina Bunge LLC," says John E. Klein, president and CEO of Bunge North America.
