Bulls prevail in LSE.LAHORE, August 28, 2009 (Balochistan Times): Bullish trend continued in Lahore Stock Exchange on Friday with LSE-25 index rising by 91.52 points to close at 2657.26 from yesterdays 2565.74 points. The total turnover also corresponded with bullish sentiment as it rose to 23.607 million shares against 10.239 million shares on Thursday showing an increase of 13.368 million shares. Out of total 106 active scrips traded on Friday, 54 moved up 10 shed value while another 42 equities remained unchanged. Pakistan Petroleum Ltd was the major gainer of the day with its share rising by Rs 10.22 followed by MCB (Memory Control Block) An identifier (16 bytes) that DOS places in front of each block of memory it allocates. Bank Limited and Pakistan Oil Fields whose share gained Rs 9.40 and Rs 8.50 respectively. On the negative column, Glaxo Smith Kline Pakis figured high with its share shedding Rs 2.90 followed by Pakistan Reinsurance The contract made between an insurance company and a third party to protect the insurance company from losses.
