 prep volleyball tournament on Saturday with a 25-15, 25-15 victory over the Stayton Eagles in the final. The Bulldogs reached the final match by downing Pleasant Hill 25-19, 25-11 in the quarterfinals and Creswell 25-18, 25-17 in the semifinals.

Creswell had reached the semifinal round by defeating Marist 25-16, 20-25, 15-13 in the quarterfinals. Leading the Bulldogs in the tournmament were Haley Kulm with 12 kills, Kaylea Colley with 10 digs and Darci Williamson with 35 assists.

Leading North Bend in the tournament were Leah Klemenhagen with 48 kills, 27 blocks and 10 aces, Kari Adkins with 37 kills, Becky Daniels with 26 kills and 26 digs and Stephanie Willett with 100 assists.

The Junction City Junction City, city (1990 pop. 20,604), seat of Geary co., NE Kans., at the confluence of the Republican and Smoky Hill rivers; inc. 1859. Josie Christiansen of Coquille was named to the all-tournament team.

Big Fir League

The North Douglas Warriors traveled to the coast and claimed two wins, defeating Pacific in Port Orford 25-15, 25-14, 25-19 and following with a victory over the Gold Beach Panthers.

Leading North Douglas past Pacific were Melissa Cool with 11 kills, Dani Taylor with 11 assists and Katie Plumb with eight aces.
