Bulldog Capital Hires High Tech Executive to Direct Private Equities Effort.


CLEARWATER, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 8, 1999--

Bulldog Capital Management, a leading hedge-fund manager with over $800 million under management, today formally announced that Alexander Eckelberry has joined the firm as Managing Director, with responsibility for the firm's expansion into private equities investment.

About Alexander Eckelberry

Prior to joining Bulldog, Mr. Eckelberry was Executive Vice President for Mijenix Corporation, a Colorado-based software company specializing in Windows tools, where he worked until shortly after the company was sold to Ontrack Data International (Nasdaq:ONDI). Before Mijenix, Mr. Eckelberry was with Quarterdeck (Quarterdeck Corporation, Marina del Rey, CA) A pioneering software company, founded in 1983, that offered a variety of utilities, diagnostics, connectivity and Internet products for the PC and Macintosh.  Corporation for nearly six and a half years, where he served in a variety of positions, most recently Vice President, Worldwide Marketing, and Vice President and General Manager, Utilities Business Unit. Quarterdeck was later sold to Symantec Corporation (Nasdaq:SYMC SYMC Symantec Corporation (stock symbol) ). Prior to Quarterdeck, Mr. Eckelberry worked for Aegis Development and Borland International.
