Showing it has no intention of resting on its laurels, BullSoft, the worldwide software division of Bull, has moved aggressively to widen its competitive advantage in the telecommunications management software market by elevating its OpenMaster(R) for Telecom organization to full business unit status within BullSoft.

BullSoft made the move to better leverage its engineering expertise and product strengths, especially in managing mixed voice and data services where it has a clear competitive advantage. BullSoft is now better positioned to capitalize on Cap´i`tal`ize on`

The OpenMaster for Telecom suite is the telecommunications management domain of BullSoft's widely-installed OpenMaster secure enterprise management software suite. OpenMaster for Telecom is designed to enable service providers to support multi-vendor and multi-service networks, such as frame relay A high-speed packet switching protocol used in wide area networks (WANs). Providing a granular service of up to DS3 speed (45 Mbps), it has become popular for LAN to LAN connections across remote distances, and services are offered by most major carriers. , ATM, IP-VPN, voice/data, wireless and multimedia by providing end-to-end management from a single point.
