In its report, BullMarket.com wrote: "Flooding aging oilfields with CO2 is similar to the technique of flooding them with water, except that unlike water, CO2 binds with oil. That's a key characteristic when it comes to trying to extract oil trapped in rock and other soils. Flooding fields with water can leave the oil behind; flooding them with CO2 brings the CO2/oil mixture to the surface. Once there, the CO2 is removed, the oil is shipped away, and the CO2 is sent back into the ground. As oilfields are depleted, the demand for CO2 is going to rise..."

BullMarket.com looked at the following topics, among others:

-- Are there any companies that are currently poised to take advantage of a trend toward flooding oilfields with CO2?

-- Might CO2 sequestering help extract the oil trapped from Canada's oil sand fields more easily?

-- What industries could be positioned as reliable suppliers of CO2?
