Sprint selects BullSoft's OpenMaster(R) for Telecom

management software for new switching elements

BullSoft, the worldwide software division of Bull, announced today that it has received a multi-million dollar, multi-year professional services (job) professional services - A department of a supplier providing consultancy and programming manpower for the supplier's products.  contract from Sprint to deploy BullSoft's OpenMaster for Telecom software.

The agreement is part of a major project to create a new TMN-compliant telecommunications management infrastructure for a revolutionary Sprint network switching element that is capable of enabling Asynchronous Transfer Mode See ATM.

The project includes managing the nationwide deployment of new equipment that will enable Sprint to provide higher value to customers while reducing network costs.
