Bull, Gallagher & Robertson Secure and Simplify Remote Host Access.

BILLERICA, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 26, 1998--

Integration of G&R's Glink and BullSoft's AccessMaster

strengthens security management of desktop remote access.

Integration of G&R's Gweb browser interface also planned

BullSoft, the worldwide software division of Bull; and Gallagher & Robertson, a leading provider of host remote access; announced today that Gallagher & Robertson has selected AccessMaster(R) security software from BullSoft to provide single sign-on An identification system that lets users log into multiple Web sites on the Internet with one username and password. Single sign-on systems are also used within an enterprise, enabling users to access all authorized resources in the local network using the same username and password.  facilities to G&R's Glink users and later for Gweb and Host Links users. AccessMaster is the security management application within BullSoft's OpenMaster(R) secure enterprise management software suite.

Through the Glink for Windows products, which already support single sign-on, Gallagher & Robertson becomes an Associate Partner in Bull's "Ready for OpenMaster" partner program, and will be included in the program's growing catalog of products and solutions that have demonstrated full interoperability with the OpenMaster software suite. Gallagher & Robertson sells the G&R products through their distributors, including most Bull affiliates worldwide; AccessMaster is marketed by BullSoft and its worldwide distribution partners.

AccessMaster's single sign-on function eliminates the need for users to memorize multiple application passwords. Instead, users need only enter a single password once, and an AccessMaster security server authenticates the password and grants user access to all authorized systems and applications.

Under their strategic alliance, G&R and Bull will enhance the scope of their products in order to provide AccessMaster single sign-on solutions in Internet/intranet environments using Gweb and Glink for Java(TM), as well as G&R's Host Links products. From any standard browser (Netscape, MS-Internet Explorer), these products provide users with easy access to any UNIX UNIX

"The partnership with G&R broadens the scope of AccessMaster's single sign-on capabilities by providing our customers with a safe, convenient and easy interface to connect to remote hosts using Gallagher & Robertson Glink desktop access products," said Claude Derue, marketing director of OpenMaster.
