The Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York's 2001 BuildingsNY Show promises to be the biggest ever, with exhibition space already 95% sold. The BuildingsNY Show, the largest buildings and real estate trade event in the metropolitan New York region, will be held in NYC NYC

 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center Jacob K. Javits Convention Center is a large convention center on the west side of Manhattan in New York City. It was designed by architects I. M. Pei and partners. The revolutionary space frame structure was built in 1986 and named for New York Senator Jacob K.  on June 19-20, 2001. Pre-registration for the show is up by 42% over last year at this time.

The Mayoral Forum will feature all four Democratic mayoral candidates and will be moderated by Marcia Kramer, chief investigative/political reporter for CBS (Cell Broadcast Service) See cell broadcast.  2 News and host of CBS' public affairs politics talk show, "Sunday Edition". The candidates will be invited to express their opinions on a multitude of topics including their views on the buildings and the real estate industry. The forum will be held June 19th at 8:30 a.m.

 Bank. Panelists will discuss their views on what the future holds for New York's real estate. market. The panel will be held June 20 from 8 to 10 a.m.

One of the new features planned for the event is the eBuildings Pavilion, which will showcase the latest technology and services available to the industry. The eBuildings Pavilion will be devoted to showcasing the products and services available to help builders, managers and owners keep their buildings up-to-speed.

The amount of exhibit space is also up for this year's event. To date, 512 companies - 34 of which will exhibit in the new eBuildings Pavilion, will occupy 74,300 square feet of exhibit space, compared to 70,000 square feet of space at this time last year.
