Building up interest in construction.


FEMALE pupils from Cardiff's faith schools have had a taste of life in the construction industry.

As part of a scheme, organised jointly by construction company Willmott Dixon, Construction Skills and Uwic, 35 pupils gave the industry a try.

The pupils had the opportunity to take part in surveying workshops organised by staff at Uwic and gain experience of using Auto CAD CAD: see computer-aided design.

We feel it is also important to highlight the positive working environment for women."
