Building up confidence.

MANSELL construction staff proved qualified successes when skills certification examiners visited a housing site in West Bromwich.

The Construction Skills Certification Scheme mobile testing centre visited Mansell's Peter Street site, which is part of the Sandwell Pathfinder PFI redevelopment project with Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council and Riverside Housing Association.

The scheme was set up to help the construction industry improve quality and reduce accidents, and CSCS cards are increasingly demanded as proof of occupational competence by organisations across the industry. All sites registered under the scheme are required to declare the percentage of workers holding CSCS cards.

The visit by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme mobile testing centre enabled Mansell site staff, client staff and sub-contractors to obtain certification in one central, convenient location.
