Building program should create jobs.


Charles A. Gargano, Chairman of Empire State Development last week announced a third phase of Governor Pataki's "Build Now-NY" program, strategically marketing an inventory of pre-approved, "shovel ready" sites to a range of companies positioned to create jobs for new Yorkers.

Empire State Development, the state's economic development organization, will coordinate the effort, in cooperation with the Governor's Office of Regulatory Reform Regulatory Reform concerns improvements to the quality of government regulation.

At the international level, the "OECD Regulatory Reform Programme is aimed at helping governments improve regulatory quality -- that is, reforming regulations that raise unnecessary obstacles to
