The BBC crew was allowed to shoot behind the scenes during the entire construction process, including private discussions among the creators of The Venetian. Emphasis throughout the documentary is placed on the dedication to authentically recreate each of the architectural landmarks of Venice in Las Vegas, all highlighted by elaborate works of art created by 200 American and Italian artists in studios in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States.
