Under the terms of the acquisition, the manufacturer Marvin Windows and Doors has appointed BMC West as the exclusive distributor of its wood window product lines in Texas (excluding El Paso El Paso (ĕl pă`sō), city (1990 pop. 515,342), seat of El Paso co., extreme W Tex., on the Rio Grande opposite Juárez, Mex.; inc. 1873. ), Oklahoma, Arizona, northwestern Louisiana and Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States. , Nevada.

The existing dedicated wood window sales personnel in BMC West's SouthCentral division will be transferred to Marvin Windows Planning Centers. The management and sales personnel of Marvin Windows Planning Centers will remain with the company as part of BMC West's SouthCentral division.
