Building Council to prove that green building matters.


The U.S. Green Building Council New York New York, state, United States

 Chapter announced the launch of a series of public programs entitled en·ti·tle

1. To give a name or title to.

2. To furnish with a right or claim to something:
 "Green Building Matters." The programs will feature distinguished experts and explore critical issues related to developing high performance sustainable buildings.

The first program, "Market Transformation: Green Building," will be held on January 25 at 6:30 pm at the CUNY Graduate Center The Graduate School and University Center of The City University of New York (known more commonly as the CUNY Graduate Center or the GC) is the sole doctorate-granting institution of the City University of New York.  in New York City New York City: see New York, city.

. A featured speaker will be Michael MacCracken, chief scientist for climate change programs with the Washington D.C.-based Climate Institute. The Institute has distinguished itself as a world leader in promoting a balance of practical and cooperative approaches to global climate change.
