Building Brooklyn awards open.


The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the fourth annual Building Brooklyn Awards.

The Building Brooklyn Awards honor As a verb, to accept a bill of exchange, or to pay a note, check, or accepted bill, at maturity. To pay or to accept and pay, or, where a credit so engages, to purchase or discount a draft complying with the terms of the draft.  new construction and renovation projects that have improved Brooklyn's economy and quality of life.

"The Building Brooklyn Awards enable the Brooklyn Chamber to shine a spotlight on a diverse and exciting selection of projects that represent the incredible amount of new investment in our borough," explained Kenneth Adams Kenneth Adam (born on March 1 1908 in Nottingham; died October 18 1978) was an English journalist and broadcasting executive, who from 1957 until 1961 served as the Controller of the BBC Television Service. , President of the Brooklyn Chamber.

In 2003, 11 construction projects from around the borough were recognized. This year the selection promises to be bigger and better, with the inclusion of three new categories. The Brooklyn Chamber is accepting nominations in 14 categories: education, public works public works

Construction projects, such as highways or dams, financed by public funds and constructed by a government for the benefit or use of the general public.
