Builders Insurance Company Announces Annual Meeting; One of Nevada's Two Largest Workers' Comp Carriers to Hold Member Appreciation Luncheon at Bellagio May 18.

LAS VEGAS -- More than 1,000 area construction industry contractors and sub-contractors have been invited to attend Builders Insurance Company's Appreciation Luncheon, scheduled for May 18th at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The gala luncheon -- the highlight of Builders Insurance's ongoing efforts to involve its members in the operations of the company -- will begin at 11:00.

Builders Insurance provides workers' comp coverage -- as well as comprehensive safety and fraud-reduction measures -- to help participating companies reduce on-the-job injuries and reduce workers' comp claims -- and costs.

Following the mid-day banquet and presentation of member awards and raffled-off gifts provided by Las Vegas-area vendors, the contractor-owners of Builders Insurance -- one of Nevada's two largest workers' comp insurers -- will hear reports from the company's Administration, Claims and Marketing providers. These annual reports will bring these contractor-owners up to date on efforts of their organization to reduce on-the-job injuries, thereby reducing the number of claims. Presentations will include:

--Wayne Harris, president of Builders Insurance, will report on the company's strong financial results for year 2005

--Jack Schreiner, the company's claims administrator, will present a new video detailing the insurer's efforts at combating fraud, and report on his program's ongoing success in eliminating fraudulent claims by investigating and prosecuting those guilty of making fraudulent workers comp claims against their employers

--Tom Wheeler, Vice-President of Marketing, will report on the company's effective and successful 2005 and 2006 marketing efforts. Based on this aggressive program, Builders recently reached a milestone of $50 million in estimated annualized premium with more than 1000 total insureds
