BuildPoint Names Alec Neville Chief Financial Officer; Former SG Cowen Investment Banker Brings Extensive Experience to BuildPoint Corporation.

BuildPoint Corporation, the leading e-commerce company for the construction industry, today announced that Alec Neville has joined its management team as chief financial officer. Neville, 44, comes to BuildPoint from SG Cowen, a full-service investment banking and securities firm, where he was a director of investment banking. Peter Daley, founder and previous CFO See Chief Financial Officer.  for BuildPoint, will remain on BuildPoint's senior management team as executive vice president focusing on strategic analysis and planning.

Neville, who brings more than 18 years of experience in corporate finance to BuildPoint, will drive the company's efforts to secure additional strategic alliances and partnership agreements as well as manage the company's finance needs. Most recently, Neville directed new business initiatives for SG Cowen, originating more than $2 billion of new business and managing a $10 million annual budget. Previously, at Citicorp, he managed client relationships including Tektronix, Mentor Graphics Mentor Graphics, Inc (NASDAQ: MENT) is a US-based multinational corporation dealing in electronic design automation (EDA) for electrical engineering and electronics, as of 2004, ranked third in the EDA industry it helped create. , and Microsoft, where he advised the software giant on international cash management account issues.
