Subcontractor Management Solution for Several Key Offices

BuildPoint Corporation, the construction industry's leader in provider relationship management (PRM), announced today that it has expanded its relationship with DPR Construction, Inc. (DPR), a leading national commercial contractor. Under this agreement, DPR will standardize across its organization using BuildPoint's Bid Manager solution. Further, DPR has decided to deploy BuildPoint's PRM 2 subcontractor management solution in four of its key regional office locations in a two-year agreement with BuildPoint.

"DPR promotes a collaborative building environment, and we continuously strive to work with the highest quality subcontractors. BuildPoint's customized, user-friendly solutions offered everything we were seeking to assist us in managing construction project bids and qualifying subcontractors," said Alan Watt, IT Application Manager for DPR Construction. "By understanding a subcontractor's financial health, safety performance, and other business details, BuildPoint will help to ensure the selection of subcontractors that meet the requirements of a project. BuildPoint further increases our competitive advantage and plays a part in making the entire project team successful," added Watt.

In implementing BuildPoint's PRM 2 solution, DPR will achieve the following:
-- A centralized, real-time repository for managing subcontractor data;

-- Efficient, standardized processes for bidding projects and qualifying subcontractors;

-- The ability to streamline subcontractor administration and increase subcontractors' comfort with providing qualification information and managing project information online; and

-- Strengthened relationships with subcontractors that consistently perform quality work.

"DPR's management team has a well-deserved reputation for innovation. They understand that managing subcontractor information effectively will allow them to readily identify their top subcontractors and receive competitive bids from them. Through DPR's use of the BuildPoint PRM 2 solution, I am confident that they will see a significant return on their investment," said Mike Krueger, president and COO of BuildPoint.
