Kiemle has had extensive experience in executive management, manufacturing and technology during his career at Owens Corning. He was named vice president of manufacturing for insulating systems business in 1994. Prior to that role, he served as vice president of information systems.

A native of Irvington, N.J., Kiemle joined Owens Corning in 1969 as a mechanical engineer at a company plant in Barrington, N.J. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Governors and on the Executive Committee of the North American North American

Kiemle was awarded the 2005 Stanley Matthews Sir Stanley Matthews, CBE (February 1 1915 - February 23 2000) was an English football player. Often regarded as one of the greats of the English game, he was the first footballer to be knighted (and is, as of 2006, the only player to have been knighted while still playing), as  Memorial Award by NAIMA for his dedication to the insulation industry.
