Build-A-Bear Workshop Opens Stores Down Under; First Two Stores Opening in Australia.

) is bringing its unique entertainment retail concept to its first locations in Australia. Build-A-Bear Workshop opened its very first store in Australia on October 28th, in Westfield Bondi Junction Westfield Bondi Junction is a shopping centre located in the suburb of Bondi Junction in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

The centre was completely rebuilt in 2003 and is the third largest shopping centre owned by The Westfield Group in terms of the number of retailers.
, followed by Castle Hill Towers one week later, on November 4th. Creata, an Australian based global marketing and manufacturing firm, will own and operate the Build-A-Bear Workshop stores in Australia.

A stuffed animal is toy animal stuffed with straw, beans, cotton or other similar materials. Some stuffed animals are very old – home made cloth dolls stuffed with straw go back to at least the
. At Build-A-Bear Workshop, Guests choose, stuff, stitch, fluff, name and dress their very own stuffed animals. Hundreds of coordinating outfits and accessories are also available to further personalize per·son·al·ize
