Bugaboo Creek names Ellen Moore vice president.
Moore will join the company on Jan. 2, 1996. She will be responsible for the training of staff and management for the Bugaboo Creek Steak House and Capital Grille restaurant concepts.
Moore has a distinguished career in multi-unit restaurant training and development. She joins the company from the Levy Restaurants, where she currently serves as director of training for their diverse restaurant group. Previously, she was the director of Certification and Instructional Services for The Educational Foundation of The National Restaurant Association.
Moore is a director of The Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers (CHART), as well as a member of the board of directors of The New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vt. She is a graduate of the University of Denver.
Bugaboo Creek Steak House is a casual dining restaurant with a Canadian mountain lodge theme and The Capital Grille is a fine dining restaurant specializing in dry-aged steaks. There are currently 14 restaurants, 11 Bugaboo Creek units and three Capital Grille units, open in the states of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Virginia, Connecticut, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Maine and Washington, D.C. Additionally, the company manages three non-owned restaurants including Hemenway's Seafood Grill & Oyster Bar in Providence, R.I.
