Buffalo take lions share of hits.

A BATTLE between buffalo and lions is the most watched YouTube clip of 2007.

More than 21 million people have tuned into the eight-minute Battle At Kruger Battle at Kruger is a viral video posted on YouTube in 2007 which was widely praised for its dramatic depiction of life on the African savannah.[1] It is one of YouTube's most popular videos, with more than 17 million views and 15 thousand comments as of September 2007. , which shows a fight between a herd of Cape Buffalo and a pride of lions Pride of Lions is a melodic rock group fronted by former Survivor guitarist Jim Peterik and vocalist Toby Hitchcock. Formed in 2003, the group, according to Peterik is "my vision of the best elements of the great melodic rock era of the 80’s, updated of course with more  who snatched one of the calves.

The footage shows the buffalo saving the calf's life by charging the lions in a dramatic confrontation at the Kruger National Park Kruger National Park, game reserve, c.8,000 sq mi (20,720 sq km), Limpopo and Mpumalanga, NE South Africa. One of the world's largest wildlife sanctuaries, it has almost every species of game found in southern Africa.  in South Africa.

The National Geographic TV channel is now making a documentary about the clip, which was filmed in 2004.

Another major YouTube hit features a piano-playing cat called Nora. It has been seen by 7.5million people. American Britney fan Chris Crocker attracted more comments than almost any other clip over his two-minute rant about the singer's treatment.

It has been viewed more than 14 million times.

The Queen's Christmas message was put on YouTube for the first time this year as well as being broadcast on TV.
