Buffalo Technology Joins CMTL Certification Programs.

 (Computer Memory Test Labs) today announced that Buffalo Technology, with headquarters in Nagoya, Japan, has joined the CMTL memory module and manufacturer certification programs.

As a participant in the programs, Buffalo will have its standard and server memory modules tested for cross-platform compatibility on motherboards from the leading manufacturers in the industry, including: ABIT A`bit´

Once certified, the module will be identified by a CMTL certification sticker and the part number will be listed on CMTL's Web site. Motherboard or module customers can identify which products have been tested for compatibility by using CMTL's Web site.

To become a CMTL certified manufacturer, a minimum of 10 different modules must be certified and the manufacturer must also have a CMTL test station and CMTL trained technician in house in order to perform scheduled in house testing.
