Meredith Vieira Meredith Louise Vieira (born December 30, 1953) is an Emmy Award-winning American journalist, television personality, and game show hostess. She currently co-hosts NBC's Today as well as continuing to host Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in syndication. , Emmy-winning broadcaster and popular moderator of ABC's daytime talk show "The View," has been tapped to host Buena Vista Television's weekday version of the hit game show "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire," which will launch in national syndication in September, 2002.
