Budweiser Sweeps Top Six Positions in America Online's Super Sunday AOL Ad Poll.

More Than 1.6 Million Votes Cast on AOL (A division of Time Warner, Inc., New York, NY, www.aol.com) The world's largest online information service with access to the Internet, e-mail, chat rooms and a variety of databases and services. America Online See AOL.  announced today that the Budweiser ad entitled "Donkey" is the winner of its Super Sunday The term Super Sunday may refer to the following
  • Super Sunday (TV series), a 1980s American cartoon multicharacter series from Marvel Entertainment
  • Super Sunday (phone-a-thon)
 AOL(R) Ad Poll. More than 1.6 million votes were cast on the AOL and AOL.com services, with "Donkey" garnering 11% of the vote and just over 10,000 votes separated it from the second place finisher, Bud Light's "Sleigh Ride." Budweiser advertisements held the top six positions in the final results of the poll, with percentages as follows:


1. Budweiser - Donkey - 11%
2. Bud Light - Sleigh Ride - 11%
3. Bud Light - Dogs Fetching - 8%
4. Bud Light - Chimpanzee - 6%
5. Budweiser - Referee - 6%
6. Budweiser - Spa Treatment - 6%

only those users who chose to participate. Voting ended as of 2:00
p.m. on February 2, 2004.)

"With over one million tallied on AOL and AOL.com, the people have spoken -- nearly doubling last year's results and making it the largest among major polling providers for this year's commercials."

Last year, AOL hosted a similar Super Bowl advertising showcase, with the Pepsi Twist Pepsi Twist is a lemon flavored cola, marketed by PepsiCo as an alternative to regular Pepsi. History
Pepsi Twist was introduced in the United States in the summer of 2001.
 ad featuring the Osbournes declared the final winner. This year's results nearly doubled the 600,000 votes cast last year during the same 12 hour period.
