Buderus Expands European Specialty Steel Activities.


WETZLAR, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 9, 1998--Buderus AG, the Germany-based heating and specialty products group, announced today that its Specialty Steel Division has acquired Deville Rectification S rectification /rec·ti·fi·ca·tion/ (rek?ti-fi-ka´shun)

Deville Rectification S.A. manufactures and distributes machined and ground specialty steel plates for the mold mold, name for certain multicellular organisms of the various classes of the kingdom Fungi, characteristically having bodies composed of a cottony mycelium. The colors of molds are caused by the spores, which are borne on the mycelium.  making industry. In the 1997/98 fiscal year (ended August 31), revenues were DM 55 million and a pre-tax profits of DM 7 million was achieved. Deville employs more than 180 employees.
